Warning, crap load of pics incoming.

Love the warm light in this one. Love the colors and contrast. Almost looks like a filtered flash but I suspect it was shot at the golden hour right before sunset.:beerchug:Cheers!

(I'm a sucker for leading lines) one thing I noticed in my own work and I believe is true for everyone is to try to get a different perspective, especially with architectural shots. Avoid the stereotypical view from a tourist standing straight up looking up a building, unless it REALLLLY works. I know while I was in New York, that angle was waaaay over done.

Just my 2¢

Did you get a chance to look into those close up filters? I took the flower shots with them.

No, I didn't get to look at them. Any macro stuff I do, I free-lens using a 28 f2.8. You ca focus SUPER close using that.

Yay, RX100 buddies!
I recently got one of these neat Magfilters for mine.

Really happy with my purchase!
It does exactly what it is supposed to do and the overally quality of this thing is awesome for this price.

Yep, got that too but have not have a chance to use it yet.

Think it is me, as much as I like the RX100 it just can't compare to my D800E with 24-70.  I know I know, there is no comparison.

I could have guessed that from the file name! Did you get a mk1 or mk2? I'm also thinking of getting one :)

Since we were recently talking bokeh, I took this during my regular morning stroll. Straight out of the camera the petals look a bit surreal.

MK I, can't justify the $200 difference.  I don't think I will use the tilt screen and hot shoes.  If I carry a flash, I will just lug my D800E instead.
