pfft yeah okay. They've gotten clearer, but they'll never have the pure quality and overall presence of a larger sensor.

I never said they would.  But, you could print a picture from a cellphone today and get very good quality.  A phone from 5 years ago would not make pictures of print quality.

From a 4~5 year-old Nokia 5800 (3.8 mp sensor):

AppleMark

This wasn't even Nokia's top cameraphone back then.

If you can, could you send me the RAW file of this? I'd like to see what I can do in Lightroom biggrin.gif I'm feeling inspired to get something done.

I'm afraid, I only have the original JPEG. Pretty much stopped using RAW since it slows down the cam and I've hardly ever time to play with Lightroom anyway. redface.gif

Prettty bush league compared to the pics everyone else has been posting but what the heck

Panoramic pic taken by an iPhone 5.

Place: Winnipeg city, park with large pool with water fountains located in front of the Manitoba Legislative Building

After I took the pic I thought it looked rather weird in a surreal sort of way. I don't know, I guess it has it's own strange sort of charm.
