It's funny, but getting clean high-res wallpapers was a selfish part of why I got interested in better photography and gear. I always liked making my own wallpapers instead of using stuff on the web, so before photography when I was into graphics I used to make odd abstract desktops with POVray and such.

Good observation, I agree the whole thing feels squished, although it's only cropped.

Couldn't get my iPhone 4 to stabilize properly on my tripod, but here are some shots with the Olloclip. Sorry, not as good as the Nikon...

Thanks! You shoot large format? You can use just about any LF camera to shoot wet plate, but it's a big commitment. Very addictive once you start, though. I'm shooting 8x10 plates now and will eventually do some 11x14's.
