I bought these this week from amazon.co.uk for £10 including delivery. That's US $15.
Packaging, appearance, warranty, euro-nanny knows best:
Mine arrived in the small European packaging box,...
Absolutely beautiful little player. It's just a gorgeous chunk of tech that feels good to hold. For me personally tech has to have form as well as function and the AK120 doesn't disappoint on...
I agree w most reviews that these does not warrant the $499 MSRP. (Then rather opt for D5k, D7k).
BUT - at the +-$230 range I got them at (Amazon warehouse) - these are VERY good value for...

Introduction
The easiest way to explain the Sennheiser CX-150's is that they do what you can reasonably expect. You can't really expect much from a pair of sub-50 dollar IEM's, and frankly, I...
I've been looking for a DAP with optical out and the archos is too big to even be considered portable. I guess if you want to push the line....you could put up a weak argument that it is portable. =/
I'm thinking about buying sony D-NE830 from Japan. The OP did state that it have optical out but it seems like its not updated since so I'm really not sure. Can anyone here chime in and verify if the optical out work? I'm thinking about putting it together with ibasso d10
Portable DVD Player with Screen DVD Players Product Reviews and Prices - Epinions.com[/url]
As I believe I reported way earlier in this thread, I have the LG DVD player with the digital out, which I've been using successfully for about a year now. It's often on sale at Radio Shack and it's highly rated by Consumer Reports. Not only does it play DVD's but also MP3. Unfortunately for me, I'm stuck with DVD's as otherwise I prefer flac encoding to mp3.
The recent version of portable DVD players supports more codecs, compact and cheap too and sometime better than PCDP too.
I took a look at the specs of the first 40 or so on the list you provided earlier, and they're pretty much limited to either MP3 or WMA playback. Regretfully, not any of them seems to play flac-encoded music. But thanks for your research.
Yes, I still cannot find the one which can play FLAC files, BUT, but, it still can play CDDA (CD Digital Audio) just like normal PCDP, and guest what, it plays DVD, DivX too..
A bit bulky, but PDVDP also can be a good alternative to PCDP.
