You know that Michigan will go after either Jeff Tedford or Rutgers' Greg Schiano with lot of money. They might even go after LSU's Les Miles (Miles was a student and an assistant coach at Michigan) if Michigan can buy out Miles' contract.

Wow, another 0saturday with some eye-popping scores. Notre Dame is so bad that we can't judge how good PSU is based on that game. ND and UM will play next week and at least in theory one of them will get a win. I am starting to think that our (Northwestern) game against UM, which is in Evanston, might be winnable

Auburn fans can join UM and ND fans on the "Not our year" float in the parade.

After these first two weeks, it wouldn't surprise me if Northwestern beat Michigan. It seems logical to think that Michigan will get their act together by the time they start Big Ten play, but at this point who knows.

It twas a great day of college football. As a Sooner, we shed a-lot of painful memories by watching the Sooners whip the 'Canes.

OU might be pretty good.

LSU is pretty darn good. I wouldn't want a piece of that team right now. However, it's a lonnnng season and conference play has a way of exposing flaws in even the greatest squads. Honestly what I took from the high profile Miami and VT blowouts was the neither of the vanquished were that good. VT is about as close to a top ten team as Miami. I have a way of staring at the mole on Miss America though.

I watched the second quarter of the Michigan game. Oregon was playing pitch and catch. The Wolverine D looked slow and undisciplined. Why play cover if your Safety is going to stay in the middle of the field? Michigan has been exposed. They might lose six games this season. I love how the commentators said "this is the last spread offense Michigan will face". It isn't that hard to split out some receivers and exploit slow reacting db's.

Can anyone else remember a time with so much college football parody? Regional tv coverage and scholarship limits are working.

Well, back to watching narrow hash marks, boring pro sets, and silicon cheerleaders.

BOOMER SOONER and Gooooooo Raiders!!!!

I'm not sure that it's gotten so bad I would call it parody. But there certainly is a lot of parity in College Football right now

I would say it depends on which conference one roots for.

woot! Bears are ranked 8th today and there are 4 Pac 10 in the top 24

as for Mich- they have gone to the last 3 rose bowls! and they are calling for Carr's head... that's absurd. would it make you guys happy to go win the holiday bowl instead?

.... and Michigan lost all three. Of course, OSU beat Michigan the last three years prior to the Rose Bowl too.

But you are right, Carr should get to coach Michigan as long as Joe Pa has coached PSU.

Keep LLoyd Carr.

I was just checking the spreads. Vegas has SC -10.5 to Nebraska.

That's some easy money! I bet there's some curled lips in L.A. after the Trojans watched LSU get so much pub over the weekend....

Lloyd Carr should coach Michigan for as long as Jim Tressel sees fit to beat him...
