College Football - Page 6

Holy crap! If last week was the Michigan bus breaking down in the middle of nowhere, this week was the Michigan plus bursting into flames and plunging off of a cliff. I can't believe it. Lloyd Carr may not make it to the Ohio State game at this rate...

I want him to stay too, but you can't fire the players. O-H...

There's a soft patch in my stone cold heart that actually feels for Tom right now.

But I have a newly adopted favorite team in Oregon. Dixon and that offensive are a kick in the ass to watch.

True .... but I am still getting my save LLoyd Carr bumpersticker.

Can you imagine what an evil mood Elrod must be in now?

I need to stock up on Appalachian St. and Oregon gear now, just to spite Michigan fans...

I had convinced myself that this is the year Michigan beats us. With OSU losing most of their offense, an inexperienced QB, playing @ Michigan and an experienced Michigan offense led by several potential AA's .... I just didnt see us pulling out a W. But now, I dont know.

OH

Our offense might be a question mark, but you've got to admit, that defense is solid.

I-O!!!

You got me there; atleast so far. If the offense comes around we could be much better than expected.

I think the offense will come around. It's only a matter of time...

I simply can't bring myself to do it. After Thursday night, I'm simply too ashamed. Someone more worthy should do it.

Besides, like it or not, you're Head-Fi's de facto sports coordinator.

If he even makes it this coming Monday it'll be a bit of a minor miracle! I'm shocked that Oregon soundly thumped Michigan so easily.

wait till Cal goes up to Oregon, that'll be a great shootout.

on that same note: DJ provided another highlight reel for his heismen candidacy. The defense looked like **** at the start and end of the game. The offense looked bad in the 3rd quarter (but then got back to rolling). but yea... the cal defense shouldn't make it a hobby to turn sleeper games into nail biters.

on Michigan- i was watching that game simultaneously... for some reason i thought it was like the 4th quarter or some thing with that 11-7 score and was thrilled when Oregon went up 18-7. Then I realized it was the first quarter....Considering Mich, it shouldn't be surprising... the sports commentators in LA and SF have been talking about these problems since the 2004 Rose Bowl, they are just became more pronounced with Ohio/USC/App stretch. The latest game was just a complete fall apart in even the most basic of tasks. I just hope they don't try to steal Jeff Tedford...

LSU looks damn good... so does Oklahoma.
