I'm considering selling my dear Benchmark DAC1.
The DAC is well kept and in flawless condition. It's an earlier revision that only supports inputs up to 96kHz. Otherwise it performs the same as the current version. It is factory setup to accept European voltages.
I really wouldn't like to part with this engineering masterpiece. It's one of the most valuable things I've ever owned, not because of the price but because of the sheer perfection and solidity that it represents - not only in audio reproduction, but in industrial design as well. To me, it's worth every $975 that the new version would cost. Alas, I have a bit of a need for cash, so a decent enough offer just might persuade me to (reluctantly) part with it.
