I've chosen blue/clear.

I am using 90 degree tips on my Tomahawk, for both the headphone and the interconnect cable. I can work the knob and power switch, albeit with a little difficulty, but it makes for a smaller package to fit in a smaller case.

I chose the with clears option, but either way, I'm jealous, Don't forget your to post your impressions.

Just got my molds made, but missed the post office by a few minutes. I'm sending them out first thing tomorrow, though.

I must say, that was a weird experience. The silicone felt strange going in, and then it expanded in my ear...Never felt something like that before. CNET's description of it being like a wet willey wasn't spot on, though.

I also learned that my ear canal is almost straight.

Kinda cool huh? I rather enjoyed the sensation myself

It did feel interesting, and it wasn't bad/uncomfortable. If only you could have IEM that fit and mould in your ears like that silicone does haha!

Also an amateur question, the audiologist didn't mark which ear impression was which. Is it possible to tell just from looking at the shape of an impression which ear it is from? Or are they set up that the actual livewires don't matter which side they are on, as you can switch them round.. I'm guessing it's easy as anything to tell, but I wouldn't know what to look for

and it is because of that which is why you will eventually need to replace customs.

i heard that in about 2 years, there will be a bit of change.
and 4-6 yrs is about when you should be getting replacements
Yeah I suppose that isn't bad, I'm 21 myself so I'm not sure how exactly my age affects the growth! But I have really bought them for this year, as I will be travelling a lot to London with Uni, and the course is only a year... so probably after that I won't be using them much at all. I guess it's expensive, but I'm sure they will be worth it for a year of heavy use a few days a week.

Is it possible for you to get them modified (after subsequent impressions) after the time they are no longer fitting.. or is it only possible to get a whole new procedure of impressions, and new IEM.

You can tell by looking, and feel. My audiologist just put my initials on them.

Connecticut Ear Nose Throat, at SBC in Soutport, in the back. $50 for the molds.

You mean impressions? A mold is something you make from the impressions, and costs a lot more. Livewires only need the impressions.

Got a call while I was driving down to Long Beach WA from Andrew to let me know they are getting ready to be shipped. Also, I got an email from John Yesterday with a tracking number. It doesn't work yet. You know how USPS is? Today is day 22. Getting a little anxious!!

I've heard if you clean them, they don't. Otherwise, I would assume yellow.
