Cowon D2 and LDM+

Hi guys, I'm awaiting a pair of MS-1s in the post and was planning on powering them from a Cowon D2, and eventually getting a LDM+ portable amp.

I've noticed that the D2 has an irregularly strong power output of 74mW, and that the LDM+ would only serve to increase that by 6mW to it's advertised 80mW.

My question is if I would still notice a difference between the two sources, or if the irregularly strong output of the D2 would be more than enough for the MS1's such that I would not benefit from a portable amp?

I have a D2 and MS1's also and the D2 has no problem driving them. I have a Bithead but use it more on my laptop. I love my D2.

The D2 will drive most headphones without any problems. I amp mine for other reasons.
