Audio Technica HA25D

I need info on this amp. Its < 200$, looks and feels solid. But a search reveals nothing. It also has a built in DAC with optical IN. I primarily wanna know if it will pair well with the Senn HD650.

Something tells me that amp isn't quite up to the task of powering the HD650.

If I'm not mistaken, that amp was designed with the lower-end Audio-Technica headphones in mind (which are low impedance). While I'm sure you could use the HD650 with it, you'd be extremely disappointed with the sound quality. The HD650 is very demanding.

Guessed as much... although I have an A700, I dont see the point in getting this amp for those headphones as they already pair really well with the EMU's built in headphone amp
