CrossRoads MylarOne X3 or V-Moda Vibe

I've been looking for a pair of headphones under the hundred dollar mark and I've narrowed it down to these two. I'm just wondering which of these is better or if there is a better choice. Any help would be appreciated

I personally have never tried the X3 but have heard alot of good things about it. The V-Moda Vibes aren't bad, a bit too much bass for my taste, but perfect if you are a bass head.

I've heard of problems with the V-Moda's falling apart but in the 6 months or so that iv had mine i haven't had a problem with it.

the problem with the v-modas is apparently that the first production series had a better sound and build quality then the currently sold ones,

the current X3´s are better then the vibes,

X3's are ten times better than vibes. Vibes sound muddy, and add too much warmth to all music it plays.

If I could get my hands on a first production series would they be better or are the X3s still a better choice?

how much do you value bass?...X3's arent the best in that dept. but perhaps the mylarone XB would be (bass boosted version).
