Official Denon AH-C700 Comparisons/Impressions - Page 95

Mine is almost 2 years old and I'm still using it as my main portable IEM. It's surprising how well they scale with better amplifiers as I don't hear that recessed midrange everyone seems to be complaining about when I drive it with my DIY y2 and SOUL Mini amplifier. Granted, I need to EQ the midrange a bit when using my Sony DAP. It's still doing a fine job for beater outdoor use and I'm not going to be replacing it anytime soon.

hey guys actually i had the chance to buy c700 for about usd50, the seller claim it as new oldstock item. should i buy it? my primary concern is the item sit too long on the box and when i use it, it will break apart.

I'd say go for newer stuff. The C120M or C120MA, depends if you want mic and controls, can be had for $50 as well.

A Google search gives me two sellers of old C700's. Eardio for $30 and one on ebay for $26. Why pay more?? Though buy the one, if you decide, that has the most buyer protection. You'll just be out your time but get your money back. As usual, do your homework to make the safest choice.
