The ES1 doesn't seem very popular. I don't see the point in this unless it is going to be really inexpensive. Cord is hardwired. Not sure if that is better for "active individuals". Livewires are $299 and dual driver. IMO, these single driver guys need to be around $200 or possibly less. I remember reading in the Westone 3 thread that Westone is supposed be making models catering more to a consumer sound than the stage performer sound. Maybe this is the consumer version of the ES1. Still needs to be cheaper than an ES1 to gain any consumer interest.
