The ES1 doesn't seem very popular. I don't see the point in this unless it is going to be really inexpensive. Cord is hardwired. Not sure if that is better for "active individuals". Livewires are $299 and dual driver. IMO, these single driver guys need to be around $200 or possibly less. I remember reading in the Westone 3 thread that Westone is supposed be making models catering more to a consumer sound than the stage performer sound. Maybe this is the consumer version of the ES1. Still needs to be cheaper than an ES1 to gain any consumer interest.

I'm interested in price, but it will have to undercut the Livewires by a significant amount to get my attention. Too low a price would steal sales from the UM1 though, so I doubt this will be that cheap.

Really doubt it is cheap...keep in mind how expensive ES-2 is.
