渋さ知らズ (Shibusashirazu) - Shibuboshi

Big band free jazz anyone?

Isao Tomita - Symphony Ihatov

How about a wonderful little symphony featuring world's most famous virtual diva recorded and performed live in every aspect?

You can watch a video interview with the composer below.

Part 1: http://www.mtv81.com/videos/spotlight/isao-tomita-only-has-eyes-for-hatsune-miku-segment-1/

Part 2: http://www.mtv81.com/videos/spotlight/the-nature-of-electricity-segment-2/

渋谷慶一郎 (Keiichiro Shibuya) - ATAK015 for maria

Something simple and pure after all that glory. Melancholic solo piano hits the spot. "for maria" makes my heart weep, then cry out of joy, the weep again, like I'd lost a dear friend, then remember the friends I have and smile.

The album is a DSD recording. The DSD download is available directly from Keiichiro Shibuya's web store for those interested. I have the CD version, however, because I lack DSD-compatible hardware besides my SACD player and aren't thrilled about digital downloads anyway. https://atak.stores.jp/#!/items/50c7343256ea70961200026a

Good stuff! Thumbs up for sure on Darkside and Bill Evans. Hey folks, if you are on the fence about electronic music and like blues and classic Pink Floyd-more atmosphere than EDM-Darkside is a slam dunk. JMHO
