Searching for this album on Google is a bit of an annoyance, since the search engine doesn't accept parentheses as valid search characters.

Here's what I've been putting in my ears this week (from most aggressive to most beautiful)

Ash Borer-Cold of Ages-2012                                       Trypticon-Eparistera Daimones-2010

St. Vincent-2014

Brad Mehdlau-Elegiac Cycle-gorgeous piano jazz w/ classical ovetones   Bill Evans Complete Vanguard Recordings-listening to the first disc-beautiful recording!

I've purchased a lot of Miles Davis this year. I hesitated with this box set. If you're a fan of In A Silent Way, the complete sessions is a great set. While it demonstrates how well the original is edited to the masterpiece that it is, this shows the beginnings of this period and has some wonderful additions. I like all three CD's-big recommend from me :)

That song is without a doubt one of my favorites. Its pure genius on so many levels. I get goosebumps every time I hear it, and I have heard it a lot!

That albums brings back so many memories for me - it was the album that got me into headphones. I remember my ****ty ministry of sound cans broke and i took the plunge and bought the HD280 pro's, i was 16 years old. I still have those cans 12 years later. I used to fall asleep at night listening to the album - it is in bedded in my brain. :beerchug:

I'm totally with you :beerchug: There are only a couple of albums I can listen to over and over again and never tire of, Lateralus is one of them. The only other album I feel that way about is The Dark Side of the Moon. It truly is a masterpiece.
