Arnel Pineda is amazing. I mean love Steve Perry's voice and he will forever be thee voice of Journey , but damn it this kid can wail.

 Steppin'out - Joe Jackson

- Spanning two discs and 38 songs, A&M's 2001 release "Steppin' Out: The Very Best of Joe Jackson", provides about as complete an overview of Joe Jackson's prime years as most listeners could want. Sure, this will not have everything that a hardcore fan loves, but it will have everything that a serious fan, who doesn't want to buy actual albums, needs: all the hits, plus most of the significant album tracks.

For a while, Jackson was one of the most vital singer/songwriters around, testing his limits with each album and writing fine songs along the way. This album collects them all, proving that he was a formidable talent at the peak of his prowess ~

"So Beautiful or So What" - Paul Simon

Damn this brings back memories.... Haven't listened to Mr. Bungle in forever.

A carnival for the human race
Cotton candy, happy face
A child talking with his mouth full
Girlfriend gets stuffed animal

A festive mood is all around
Another world is what we've found
Step right up, let's make a deal
Ride the ferris wheel

You know there's something lurking underneath the shape
With a mask over it's head and makeup on his face
Will Warner Brothers put our record on the shelf?
Take a look in the mirror and see the clown in yourself

Spinning
Grinning
Believing
Deceiving
Whirling
Twirling
Confusing
Amusing
Discovery
Recovery
Inherency
Transparency
Fusion
Conclusion
Reality
Fatality

If you want to know what's behind the show
You ride my carousel and enter life's jail cell
Love and blood begin to meld, you've lost the self that you once held
Merry go round your head - awake, asleep, alive, or dead.

The clown that painted a smile on you
Is now the one unmasking you
Animated scenes unwind
Dormant figures come to life

Entangled in your own web
A twisted tunnel overhead
A glimpse of light, a drop of dew
You slide into the swimming pool

A roller coaster ride into the rivers of your mind
The currents merge, your feelings surge, your life's a pantomime
Beauty is the spiral going round & round the beast
Without the vampire effect the carnival is deceased

Fun.

Roly Poly
Topsy turvy
Hang upside down
Fall to the ground
I think I'm going to be sick

The 2009 Alucard remaster from the original 1/4 inch tapes - it sounds great. Just received my CD copy and ripped it in FLAC.

Just received this one as well. The version I have is the 2006 re-issue that was taken from the 24/96 stereo mix from the DVD audio. This really is one hell of an album. Probably the most "audiophile" album I own. Some incredible bass guitar work, especially from an almost 300 year old bass guitar.

More Gentle Giant:

Again it's the 2009 Alucard Re-Master.

40th anniversary edition - remix by Steven Wilson.

some alt christmas music love, "Sugar Plum Fairy" by Falling Up (you can listen to it here http://fallingup.bandcamp.com/)

Fans of anything with distortions will enjoy. Post-rockish. Electronic. Wait until about ~45 seconds in :)

I like the primary single "Do I Wanna know" a lot. Great back beat. The rest is OK but nothing as catchy for me as that first song.
