Alone again - Gilbert O'Sullivan

It's been awhile since I listened to this.

Counting Crows - August And Everything After (1993)

It's hard to believe it's been 20 years since I was driving around listening to this CD in my car regularly.

My favorite track is "Perfect Blue Buildings."

Blue Merle was a fantastic band that could've been a huge rock hit internationally. They made it into the Billboard 200 with their first album, played Lollapalooza, and then broke up without ceremony. Their debut (and only) full LP, Burning In The Sun, is like a combination of Coldplay's dramatic presence and Dave Matthews Band's musicality, and the vocals of the lead singer has also been called a combination of Dave Matthews and Chris Martin. It's one of the best forgotten records on the last ten years.
