Storm Corrosion is a musical collaboration between Mikael Åkerfeldt of Swedish progressive metal band Opeth and Steven Wilson, an English solo artist and frontman of the progressive rock band Porcupine Tree.

The album also includes Gavin Harrison on drums, although the album only has a few minutes of drums on it.

Lou Reed & Metallica - Lulu

Not really a Lou Reed fan or hater but this talk about him has made me want to pull out my copy of Lulu on vinyl and see how it stacks up against the CD. Been waiting for the right moment to do so and this seems like such a time. I'm not holding my breath though.

Edit

I wasn't sure at first what to think, but the more I heard of the vinyl the more I started liking it. I think it's very well done and I had a hell of a time. Certainly a very pleasant surprise and I am now very satisfied about my purchase, especially since the double vinyl only set me back the cost of one full-priced CD.

Now enjoying Ishome's live set at One Tune Studio. Thank you YouTube for the recommendation.
