I need a new hashtag called something like-old head banger goes classic rock.

So, among my various posts documenting my spending binge, I'm now updating my classic hard rock collection.

Check these gems out...all enthusiastic thumbs up

1. The best only recent Best of Deep Purple remastered sounds AMAZING!! Such an important band.

2. Segueing to David Coverdale....this is totally cheesy...but reminds my of my youth. To discs..his early stuff is pretty cool.

3. Bad Company...this is killer too.

4. I always liked Billy Squire...kind of cheesy too...but he wrote catchy radio friendly hard rock back in the day.

5. The Boys are Back! Seminal band...

and my original love of great 60's blues and rock

Always been a big

6.  Animals and

7. Kinks  fan...

All used CDs from Amazon...more on the way....so much great music for a great price.

More on the way.

Roger Waters - The Pros And Cons Of Hitch Hiking

An absolutely delightful record, but it needs a few takes to fully appreciate it. Very well recorded and mastered, and features Eric Clapton on guitar.

Surely this has to be classified in the top 1000 albums of all time? Gets better with each listening.
