Very nicely thank you. I'm currently using a Marantz 2385 as phono/amp and Pioneer HPM100 for speakers. The Marantz will be replaced by my Pioneer SX1980 when I get it back from Dripping Springs Texas for its full recap and restoration.
I've moved on to:
I expected not to like this, but at least based on the first half of the first song this seems like a genuinely good release so far. (I kind of wish the album was instrumental though.)
If you are remotely interested the bluray version has instrumental versions of all the songs. They even threw in a jazz lounge version of one of the songs. I am pretty sure they were screwing around. It is all in good fun.
I never tire of this CD.
Actually listening to it as Apple Lossless files in iTunes on my Mac Pro and trialling Amarra.
Initial impressions are that with piano Amarra seems to be really rather excellent.
No matter how often I have played the pieces on this CD I always find them refreshing when I return to them.
Right now on the first, the Fantasy in F Minor. Such a clever piece, it is such a fulfilling listen. When we return to the main theme after such a journey, now it is different, in such interesting ways.
