1. On LP as part of a box set.

2. On Japanese CD.

3. On U.S. CD release exclusively at Target.

This article has good info on the releases and the origin of the tracks:

To me, it's sublime. Norah has great taste in the artists she chose to cover! I'm loving it! k701smile.gif

Thanks Strat

I have a friend of mine in CT who's going to get a copy from Target and send it through.

Great! I think you'll be pleased.

A highlight for me is her cover of Tom Waits' "Picture In A Frame". I'm a huge fan of Mr. Waits and that cover is a studio version. I also love it that she chose to cover Gram Parsons.

I love the whole record!

Some of HD Tracks' albums are on-sale for $14 USD (24/96 versions). I can't decide to get some or not.

For whatever reason asking for relatively expensive headphones for gifts is not OK in my family ("you already have too many headphones") but gift certificates for music is no problem.  I hold out for the discounts on high res.  I have not found a better legal site for what I like "Rock new and old" than HD Tracks.  If there is a better legal site please post.

At Fillmore East, incredible...

I heard this on BBC Radio 3 a week ago and bought it today.

It is, roughly, a combination of very late romanticism with post-romantic era modern music. It is actually a success.
