Here's what I've been listening to tonight. I don't know - maybe a strange combination, but it's been working for me.

Stereolab - Emperor Tomato Ketchup (1996)

Isaac Hayes - Hot Buttered Soul (1969)

Managed to pick up some freshly grounded Italian Roast coffee from World Market today. So after making some coffee with my good old Chemex, I am sitting here enjoying some sweet Miles Davis tunes. :-)

I think we're all in agreement on 'Kind Of Blue.' It's impossible to go wrong with that one.

How about this one. Kind Of Blue is nice but listen to Someday My Prince Will Come, it will blow you away.

First time I've been listening to a sitar album. Great experience!

Kushal Das - North India: Kushal Das - Sitar

Currently listening to this album I purchased from Bandcamp during the summer. I'm horrible with genres, but the tags for this release read: metalcore, punk, emo, pop, screamo. All I can say is that it's beautiful metal with GUMI on the vocals and the guy behind the music doing some screaming from time to time. I need to check out this guy's other releases once I have the time and energy to add some more music to my collection. Feeling a bit spent ATM.
