Also, you're missing out. Bottom line. This is the best purchase I made all year (music-wise).

I'm framing all the posters, and one of the 10" LPs has his two Noisia remixes on it. Worth the entry price alone there. Plus the ISAM Reinterpretations? Aww yeah.

Mostly previously unreleased or at least unreleased in physical form.

Aha, this one:

Sold out already; but I'm not that bothered, I don't care for CD' or DVD's...

Mmh, I'll see if it's still available around xmas time, since I feel I need to get into Amon Tobin's work more intimately first. Thanks for pointing out the amazon solution in any case.

Listening to the ISAM web release with the two bonus tracks right now atsmile.gif.

While I ponder getting the limited edition box-set —especially since only box-sets with NTSC DVD's are left mad.gif —, I've found digital copies of Amon Tobin's entire discography cool.gif —including the contents of said box-set eek.gif — as a temporary alternative redface.gif . I am however about to order ISAM on vinyl normal_smile%20.gif .

Right now I'm listening to Fly-Lo's latest again. BTW, I've noticed that in Japan they've had access to this album since the 26th of Sept., and with an exclusive to them bonus track! blink.gif

What, ISAM and the box-set on vinyl?! Nah, I'd have to have all his regular albums on vinyl first. Lets do this progressively.

The Japanese release of Fly-Lo's Until the Quiet Comes is CD only, and my 180g Collectors Edition should be delivered some time before the end of this week hopefully ; I'm not going to order the Japanese CD on top just for a bonus track. I'll find it to download eventually.

I was listening to ISAM this morning early again, and I'd describe it as more mineral than organic; and staccato is another adjective that comes to mind, although there are softer, smoother moments thrown in too. The soundscaping description, or even soundsculpting, where you can actually visualize the sculptor with his cold chisel sculpting blocks of sound is yet another evocation.

Track 13 of disc 1 : it's an alternate version of Jammin' .. quite different from the well know version . Deeper and a bit darker . One of my absolute favorite tracks !

Down Down IV Part I: The Purple EP

Nah, ISAM and the FlyLo CE. Already have my boxset.

Oh, and if that download you got for the Boxset was all FLAC then their either missing some stuff or upconverted some stuff because the 'extra DLs' in the box only come in MP3.

You are correct, the extra MP3's to DL are MP3. Most of those MP3's to DL are MP3 versions of what's on the 10" records AFAIUI?

So digitalizations of all of the 10" vinyl records are not available ATM AFAIK. Just the optical media content, 7x CD's in FLAC & 2x DVD's in MPEG2, and the extra DL's in MP3.

I'm not so bothered ATM, since even the FLAC mentioned above I haven't downloaded as yet. I want to get really familiar with his regular albums first, which I'm doing just fine. ISAM ordered on vinyl BTW, and likely before the end of the week I'll have ordered at least Foley Room on vinyl.

So you can guess what I'm listening to right now:

Foley Room

Working my way ante-chronologically; next on the list will be Chaos Theory.

It includes the entire Frank Riggio ISAM Reinterpretation album, the full Taxidermia score, the Boxset vinyl tracks, and 8 minutes worth of random content labels 'Ambient.

Oh, and I just nabbed the Foley Room LP. Couldn't help it when I saw Amazon only had 1 left.

Great album and I'll probably follow it up with some of his remixes. Then maybe ISAM Live again...
