Skrillex, dear _GOD_ it's just awful. And people call him dubstep
Celine Deon. I don't know what it is, but there's something about her that gets under my skin.
When she retired in early 2000, I was overjoyed, but like cockroches, she came back.
I also am upset that people with real talent are starving, and some talentless people are living in castles.
Don't confuse what I am saying...I'm not saying Celine isn't talented, she is, just not my cup of tea.
You don't like hip hop/rap? Is it because the lyrics or is that a personal preference?
I dislike Marilyn Manson from a perspective of his approach to marketing, which is a self parody and disingenuous. But I don't really mind his music that much. Don't love it, but find minor enjoyment from it if it comes on the radio.
raps not usually about the constant misogyny, being a druglord, and blowing money.
real rap is about what ever you want it to be
also Justin beiber and katy perry make we wanna shoot my self down every time i listen to them
Problem is even the rap claiming to be real has unnecessary fake words, racial slurs, or swears. Also most rap just puts me to sleep. It's incredibly boring.
THIS. Your right trying to find a nice rap song has become hard now than it ever was most are just club bangers with a catchy beat a 4 word chorus with no skill and rhythm. also by real rap i mean underground rap cuz that where its at, but even then you can find a good number of those that sound like mainstream rap
@ auhufezai i read the topic and your right. the few people i do listen to is probably tech n9ne, mos def, and talib kweli not neccessarily underground but they are better than most mainstream rappers like lil wayne and soulja boy (dude does not deserve to be in the game ). and 3 of the top 10 in my list
What I was trying to say here is that there are too many people trying to prove that some hip hop does not conform to stereotypes. How many times on youtube have you seen comments such as 'this is REAL hip hop, not that lil wayne bulls***'? Just let people listen to what they want and let them keep their views, even if they all think hip hop is misogynistic and boring
