So does this thread, but that hasn't stopped people from posting in it.

Savage Garden.

I wanted to kill them.

I think they're gone now.

Thank god.

Madonna is highly overrated IMO and I can't stand Justin Timberlake's music.

Green Day, and pretty much every other group with that same sound (which there are many). From the repetitive, simple guitar work to the simple lyrics and non-existent singing ability. They are one of the few groups where I cannot find a single aspect of them that I even remotely like. In other words, I really hate the "Punk" genre (is that the correct one; I'm horrible with genre names), no matter what decade it came from.

Wow, I feel a lot better now.

Oh, and I'm glad I'm not the only person who thought "50 Cent" when I saw the OP. Rap was screwed up long before he made it big though.
X10000000. Punk bands always have this 30 year old that sounds like he never hit puberty. Annoys the heck out me.

All Pop Idol winners and all the other cr** shows like it,

All these bands who don't Even play any instrument just prance about on stage !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't even think off any modern ones but Take That, Spice Girls and all them types,

I'm with all of you folks. Hate them all.

i don't really go out to find any band to hate. i mean if you dislike them you dont have to listen to them. unless you're force to, like someone you live with, or the work place, resulting you in hating the entire genre.

the one vivid distateful image that comes to mine is when I saw Ashlee Simpson on stage and her thounsand fans put up the metal horn.

i also sold the cds of all the band that i found out affliliate with RIAA. that inclused gnr and iron maiden unfortunately.

Way to take it to the RIAA.

Under that context, I do not listen to Bruce Springsteen. Under the "unless", you might find me out back polishing my shotgun.
Seriously tho, I don't hate any musicians. I just prefer, well... real musicians.

First conclusion: way too many conservatives listen with cans. They supposedly dislike Dylan, Green Day, Rage against the machine, Bono etc for their music, not their politics. Very convincing.

I reserve a place in my audio hell for Celine Dion and Kenny G. Yanni comes next.

Too bad the RIAA still has your money anyway :-/

I happen to like a lot of the political bands that were mentioned. RATM, Green Day...I think the politics are an important exercise of the rights of people to protest things they don't agree with. And its nice to listen to angry and angst filled music every now and then.

As for the music I hate...anything that has more runs than myself after a night of strictly mexican food. R&B for the most part, and definitely the type of pop that young girls are infatuated with these days.

Almost all pop music but I reserve a special loathing the music of Kylie Minogue What talentless squeaking.
