outta curiosity, which are the current production brands that are not made in China? or do certain brands make their cheaper models in China and the highend models in country of origin?

Westone's entire range, if I am not wrong.

High-end Sennheisers, AKG and UE customs are not made in China.

What makes it difficult is that so many of the major manufacturers are making some phones in their home country and many others in other locations. Many are "offshore" but in other countries, and many more are made in China.
The country of origin has no bearing other than to reflect the parent companies quest for unreasonable profits of course. China can produce products the equal to anywhere else in the world if the profit margin isn't the prime consideration.post #12 of 918/9/07 at 12:24pm- skellington

"Unreasonable profits" or could it be...
They don't want their phones priced out of the market?
