Thanks for the impressions. I'm worried that the bass on these may be too powerful. It sounds like the bass on these are similar to the E500s but just more defined? Does the bass seem to overpower the other spectrums at times? How do they sound with classical?

That's what I'm thinking....they probably sound better with many things than the UE10s, but I can't imagine classical benefitting from such a bass boost.

The main reason the skulls looks "off" on your UE11 is because it's basically a negative image, where whites and blacks are reversed. Otherwise, it's fine. That's the whole point of personalized artwork, it's personal.

Got any UE11 vs. Triple.Fi impressions coming up?

The early prototype UE11 I listened to at NAMM was way too bass heavy and the treble was quite rolled off and muddy compared to the Triple.Fi. But it had five drivers, so it was a different beast altogether.

OK I can see now it seems it's not totally their fault. The artwork you gave them is simply not ideal considering the final size and color. Better not use large pencil drawing with shading if you want those lines to come out sharp.

Sorry in the first post I was kind of rude thinking that because they offer it free of charge, you didn't get their best. My bad.

Sorry Brad,

I should have told you to tell UE that you wanted that skull but redrawn so it was just the shape of the skull without the exterior shading and possible a reverse image of it.

I am suprized however that they did not further consult you before trying to do it as the picture is exactly.

They should know better after all they are the experts and know what will work and what wont not you.

I would ask if it can be re-done or just get a titanium plate over it and be done.
