I don't like bashing very much. Its hard not to argue against those who won't or haven't tried a product before commenting, because it doesn't seem logical to them. Its fine if you don't want to try it or have scientific proof even that claims are not possible, but the power behind a small sound system using headphones is not enough for me to believe the iMod and vCap dock can't hold its own. To me, its low distortion, accuracy, and having the power to fully drive headphones through the capacitors is enough to at least give it a fighting chance against a nice CD player which may even be using the same DAC. Its more then enough clean power that runs the iMod, why would power cord tweaks be what makes a system?
Stuff like magical chips that don't even connect into the signal line and high fidelity toslink and USB cables, I understand the need to bash. But not enough voltage? Requiring the iMod to fix the problems that converting to AC to DC causes when it circumvents any need? I need to hear what you mean.
