Dayton Meet (8/2/08) - Moved to different thread - Page 2

Feb. is a little busy for me, but would be very interested in joining in on an Ohio meet. When will this achieve critical mass? I am in Columbus but could travel most any weekend, feb excluded... We have a couple descent high end stores here, but apparently no one listening to headphones... Calls around town reveal a modest selection of the usual suspects.

A few "how about Ohio" threads have surfaced and nothing's happened yet. I'd love for a meet. Dayton or the 'nati would be a bit far (unless it coincided with hamfest - I'm always down there then... Yes, I'm one of those geeks.)

Columbus sounds to be a good central location - about 2-ish hours from anywhere in the state. I'd gladly make the trek from Cleveland to C-bus.

I hope those here who discussed organizing a Columbus meet will set something up. I could try the 23rd but really sometime in March would probably work best.

Hey, I'm still all for an ohio meet. There's less than 10 that seem interested, columbus seems to be the common meeting point. Anyone from Columbus want to take the initiative?

If no one in Columbus cares to step up, I have a decent sized basement and at least a few places to sit in Cleveland. I don't have a lot of equipment to show off, but I've got the space!

Another Cincinnatian here. I'd be happy to meet up with any local folks, though all the gear I have to offer is a couple DACs--price of being a newbie.

I'm from Columbus, but my place is out... two German Shepherds, not friendly. But I have a TON of gear!

I'd be up for a meet. I'm in Cincinnati so I'd prefer a location closer to there. I can bring the stuff in my profile.

Headphone Demo in Columbus

I know Art out at Genesis Audio carries Senn, last time i was there he had a couple pair of 595, not sure if he has the 650's. Give them a call, great guys!! Audio Encounter also carries the Grado line. Progressive carries Grado up to the 225's.

Anyone else interested in a mini meet???

I'd like to come to a Dayton/Cincy area meet. Would consider a carpool to Columbus (three people pitch in for gas). I'd bring my sig.
