I have an opportunity to aquire a new source at a very good price, and am therefore considering selling my Oberon Audio Aton CDT-1. It's a tube CD player with either tube SE output, non-tube SE output, and XLR balanced output. The unit is in excellent condition, and has an upgrade to Tiger Maple trim made by me, as can be seen in the pic.
The unit is about 8 months old, and is built like a tank. It sounds very, very good, especially considering the price.
Little is known about this unit here in the U.S. It's basically a XINDAC unit that has been modded by the German company Oberon Audio. There mods include an upgraded power supply, a better tube, and other upgrades that I can't seem to translate.

Everything works flawless on the unit. The faceplate is 3/8" thick aluminum, and I do have the stock Black trim piece, that I will send along with the unit.
I'm looking for offers of $500.00 "SOLD" and up + shipping.
