Best earphones that aren't in-ear.

Hi,
Could anyone please guide me to which are the best earphones (not headphones), which aren't in-ear? Been searching for some earphones for a while and tried in-ear ones, which quite frankly give me a headache or are really uncomfortable. Preferably ones which don't go around the ear also, which may get in the way of glasses (like the B&O A8's). The type of music that I listen to is mainly electronic music, but looking for earphones that don't just focus on bass (S...) but a good balance as I sometimes change moods. But mainly bass is crucial.

You would be pleasantly surprised with the yuin PK1, especially with the bass coming from the A8.

Any of the Yuin earbuds would be a good choice - probably the PK2 for you, since I'm assuming you don't use (nor plan to use) a headphone amp. Available for $69 plus shipping from HeadRoom (headphone.com). Enjoy!

Since you want bass-heavy earbuds, you might also want to consider the Audio Technica CM700 series of earbuds for a bit more than the PK1. They all have low impedance and is easily drivable without extra ampage.

Thanks to all of you for all of your great replies! I'll be looking into those earphones you mentioned.

I didn't know that the type of earphones I was reffering to were called earbuds, so I learned something new and perhaps would be able to look into them in more detail!

A friend of mine recently god the Yuin PK2. I listened to them for a short while and came away impressed. So another vote for Yuin PK2 for unamped.

I highly recommend the Stax SR-001MKII.
Its simply the best sounding earphone I have ever heard.
