Eichmann Bullets worth it?

I need a better interconnect for my DAC -> Amplifier, and I am set on the 2ft Analog Two cable from Signal Cable here:
http://signalcable.com/analogtwo.html
It is $49. I know I'll hear a difference between the triple gold plated standard plugs and the Eichmann Bullet plugs, but is it worth the $25 extra?

This is the last interconnect I have not upgraded in my setup:
xfi > blue jeans 1505f > entech 205.2 > [new IC goes here] > lunchbox > cardas > hd650

If you must, I am open to suggestions, but I am almost certain that this is the interconnect for me (either w/ or w/o the bullets)

Why not pay 25 more and get the silver resolution which come with bullet plugs stock? It will stand up to upgrades later on as it is already a top notch cable.

These would work as well:

these come with those bullets.

for approx 30$ these, the specs are the same:

look for stereo audio link.

If I decide to go for a cable with the bullets, it would make sense to go with the silver serpent II because then I'd get silver plated copper wire vs. copper (with the analog II cable)

However, I have a blue jeans cable for my digital cable and I really like it. I'm not sure if the $50 difference between a $30 blue jeans cable and an $80 silver serpent would really be worth it. I'd rather put that money towards a new amplifier or DAC..... or to fix that dent in my car.

Just be careful with them as they break really easily! Once you put them on, leave them on. Twisting motion and force are a bad combo for these connectors. They do sound fantastic though!

Blue Jeans Cable LC-1s

I have the Signal Cable with Eichmans and prefer the sound of the LC-1.

I also like that Blue Jean credits the cable supplier and provides links and specs for the cable and connectors.

I think thats what I'll go for then. I've ordered from them before and been very satisfied (my digital cable). I also like the fact that they are not expensive!

the blue jeans. I already ordered them and they already shipped. I can't wait. I felt better about spending only $30 on an IC cause now I have more money to save towards bigger components.

You would feel even better if you listened to a set of $200 interconnects and compared them to the $30 units and heard how the more expensive brand was different, but not better.

you're talking about the eichmanns, right. how do you get them off then.

Just answering the breaking questions.

If you pull on them or twist them, because of the poor strain relief and the small solder point, the solder joint inside breaks. I finally gave up on repairing my cables, so I sold them with the recommendation of not switching them around alot.

I read a recommend that they be heated, but who wants to do that every time you change an interconnect.
