tube search

i want to get some back up tubes on hand so i won't have to deal with scrambling for one when it goes. i am looking for the 6as7 type driver tubes that came with my dv 336i. i believe they are the 613p(?) but i'm not sure.

also where can i purchase them?

You should comb through the DV threads for great suggestions on what tubes to buy. Pataburd's comments are right on. Pay attention to the 6sn7's.

The 6AS7 is a pretty common tube.

Also, look at the Eddie Current HD 25 tube-rolling threads for some opinions. The HD 25 uses the 6AS7 and 6SN7 as well. I agree with the posters above; it might be just a good idea to put in a solid 6AS7, 6AS7G or 6080 and fiddle with the 6SN7. I am coming from HD 25 experience though.
