Are you familar with the "H" version as opposed to the JD100A that exists in the U.S. Market ? It has all the aftermarket MODS that you find on those U.S. retailer sites as standard. WIMA & Blackgate CAPS all round with Electro-Harmonix tubes instead of the SINO ones.
Hi LoweArt,

I'm unfamiliar with the "H" version but if it is a modded version of the standard 100, I cannot doubt that it sounds great. I have listened to the 100 with raytheon 5751s as tubes and they sound excellent. It is a wonderfully transparent, smooth, and liquid player. I hope you're enjoying it!

I'll wait and hold the rush to grab a pair of Senns for a month or so, and then I'll see what happens next-

I'll let you know how this worked out fro me in 15 days or so.... The wait is killing me already, but I am used to such long periods living around here to get this kind of stuff.
Happy to help and provide you with my thoughts and I hope you really enjoy the Darkvoice 336i, GREAT choice ! As I suggested, get used to what your Grado's sound like first so you have some point of reference to go by and then try out the Sennheisers ! Enjoy !

Hi Agent Kang,

Yes, two years since I purchased the Jolida JD100H and I'm still loving it !
The "H" model was made for the Chinese domestic market and incorporates
about 85% of the aftermarket tweaks found on some U.S. retailer sites as
standard. Lucky for me the AC power requirements in China are similar to that
of Australia and I was able to find a Hong Kong based drop shipper willing to
source me one, err two, oops I mean 3 of these CD players ! Why that many, when my friends auditioned mine, they all wanted one too !
