headphone suggestions for Musical Fidelity X-Cans

ok, I'm new here so would like some advice before buying some new headphones.

currently my system is .

CD Player - Cyrus CD7Q
Headphone Amp - Musical Fidelity X-Cans v3
Interconnect - Nordost Blue Heaven

basically I owned a pair of Sennheiser HD570 Symphony but have recently sold them as I find them way too bright for my liking so I'm looking for a replacement. I listen to Indie, Metal, Rock, Drum'n'Bass, a bit of everything except for classical music really.

I've been reading peoples views on Sennheiser Hd650 and Grado 325i, somewhat conflicting when some people find the Grados bright and some dont.. I'm a bit wary of getting the Sennheisers as I was really disappointed with the sound of the 570s. I want a pair of headphones that are detailed and involving but not excessively bright to my ears !

I live in the UK but there is a lack of hi-fi shops to try out various makes where I live.

thanks in advance for any suggestions

The music you listen to seems to be perfect for D2000, I'll take them before the senns for that type of music, I use my senns for classical, which is the Denons worst genre, if you want something that is not as bright as grado and not as dark as senn or denon the akg k701 could be something, but maybe they have a little to little bass for metal or drum n bass. Grado sr 325i IS bright, maybe not if you compare to the sun, but compared to other headphones they are.
