Bought a Stax 4070 from PriceJapan.
These headphones are BTO (Built To Order) by Stax, and PriceJapan estimated 2-3 weeks before shipping. To my surprise they arrived at my place only 12 days after ordering. Including 3 days shipping from Japan to Norway..

Excellent price, fast shipping and good packaging. What more can you ask for?
I will definitely order from them again.

Highly recommended!

i bought some stax sr-404s from pricejapan. i must compliment them on their customer service -- my emails asking questions were all returned within several hours.

i ordered the headphones on a friday, the headphones were shipped the following thursday, and got to my house on friday.

i would definitely recommend pricejapan and will buy from them again.

Wow! Only 2 people have ever bothered to leave feedback for PriceJapan!?!? Shame on me! Shame on the rest of you!

I've bought headphones from PriceJapan several times and have had great experiences each time. Included in my PJ stash are the Stax 4070, Denon D5000, Audio Technica AD2000 and W5000 for sure, and maybe a couple more that I'm forgetting. In each case, I elected the cheaper EMS shipping service and have had no problems whatsover.

I know there have been threads in the Member's Lounge that have discussed Price Japan (because I've replied to them), but this is the only one I can find at the moment:

I bought my W5000's from PJ. Extremely good customer service and fast delivery. Very recommended.

I bought my CEC DA53 through pricejapan. Great service, great price. I think shipping from japan was faster than it would have been from seattle (when I was in alaska).

Purchased a pair of JVC DX-1000 headphones thru PriceJapan.

Great service. I received the headphones in NY three business days later! Can't beat that.

Purchased W5000s from PJ, as well as a 3 chip min DV camera a few years ago. Both times the transactions went smoothly and the shipping was quicker than expected (EMS is plenty good enough). Really worry-free shopping for Japanese electronics.

Just noticed this thread, I purchased my W5000 and some other things from Pricejapan also.
Shipping time after payment was excellent (except for customs which is non-related to them), and everything was trackable and packaged well (larger items double-boxed, smaller ones had plenty of packing peanuts and other filler).

Warranty might be slightly troublesome since they don't service the goods, they just act as a middle man for the products, but for this purpose they are excellent.

I ordered Denon AHD-2000s from PriceJapan & rec'd an email 4 hours later advising they had been shipped! I rec'd them in 5 business days or so. Excellent transaction.

Bought a pair of Denon AH-D2000 headphones from PriceJapan. Good communication and fast shipping when they finally got them.

Recommended.
