When I was in London, I went to a shop that had metal on the first floor, and ska/reggae/punk on the bottom floor. Wasn't too expensive, and the rarity factor for some of them was high. Then again, 2nd wave ska hit almost entirely in England, not the US, but they albums were in fantastic shape.
Luckily, here in the US, it's plentiful at second hand shops. I've got 1500+ vinyl that I've acquired over the years. Most of it, I paid no more than $2. Only about 2% of that was sealed, "audiophile quality," though. About 50% never played. And the rest with minimal damage.
