FS: Special AKG K 1000

For sale is a used AKG K 1000. This is the K 1000 originally owned by Neilpeart and seen in the infamous "Do you like my headphones?" video:

Package includes:
- AKG K 1000, includes box, manual and standard AKG K 1000 cable
- 4.5 foot Stefanarts Equinox K 1000 cable, terminated in 1/4th inch plug
- 4.5 foot Stefanarts Equinox K 1000 cable, terminated in speaker cables

Asking price is USD1350, which includes shipping in the continental US and PayPal fees.









Sorry about all the dust in the picts.

K 1000 is in excellent but used condition. Some of the writing is fading, as shown in the images, but otherwise there is nothing to disclose. The Equinox cable that's terminated in a 1/4th plug is showing wear, and the sleeve has slipped out from the plug. Not as pretty as it could be, but the cable works great.

looks like he used some form of portable media player combined with the battery powered tripath t-amp

I believe it was a PCDP optical out to a HeadRoom Overture to the T-Amp, using the Equinox speaker terminated cables.

No wonder the girl thought they were "awesome!"
