I have a question about other players besides the ipod/imod. I am kinda tied down to an ipod cause I have and love (no going back) an iMac. I have also been pretty happy with the ipod but would be interested in trying some of the others as their SQ is reported as being better. Is any other player compatible with Apple Computers?

Most Ive seen were 4G'S because people want the 5G.

I know Zarim just sold a 5G but he loved it just wasnt using it much. They are still keeping there value as well!

I know the Iriver H100 and H300 series are compatible with mac OS. Can't comment on others, but i think there's a lot more DAP compatible with mac ...

EDIT: I think all DAP that appears as a hard drive when plugged will work normally. Can't garantee though ...

any players that is MSC/UMS. Basically, these players show up as removable drives on your Mac, and you can simply drag and drop onto them. Cowon players use this and are the most popular ones. There are, however, quite a few out there that do this.

Any player that does not require software and is instead recognized as an external harddrive will work with a Mac. My Archos for instance...
