Best isolation, which one?
best sound, not too bright, which one?
Anyone of these try to strangle you when you have them around your neck?
Please help, and dont sugegst anything else :P

ok, first off, take the px200 off the list. I have these and I really couldn't find anything I liked about them. Thats about all the help i can give.

I'd vote for the k518, better sound than the k26p. Plus the k26p/27i will strangle you. I didn't like the Creatives at all when I used them. Weird fit and crappy sound. Keep in mind though that the cord for the k518 is 10 feet long.

HQ1700 sucks (unbalanced sound)
HD202 is good, but uncomfortable + good isolation and too bassy (boomy)

K81DJ/PX200: I don't know

I prefer HD555/595 !

are you sure about that ? have you compare both of em (K26p vs K518) ? well, only got K26p right now...got em for a month, and i use K24p before...

No, definitely not sure about it, but general opinion leads me to believe that they would be better (sound quality-wise). I'll buy 'em soon to know for sure.

okay then...agreed with other poster there that sayin PX200 must be taken off the list...it's TOO BRIGHT, not too comfy on my ears...the treble are too sharp and bass are treble...not good for a closed phone and it's not worth for the price, you know what i mean, dont ya ?

i dont know about Creative or HD202 but K26p and K27i are the same (beside the color, model and volume control)...trust me, already compare em on a same source, same song and same volume about 30-60 minutes...THEN i made my mind to bought K26p... more valuable than K27i...

HiFi & Musik,the leading swedish HiFi mag tested 23 portable headphones everyone liked AKG K518DJ, they got 8/10 for sound, only HPs they thought was better was, Grado sr60 $150, M-Audio IE-30 $391, Sennheiser HD-280 $241, Sony MDR-EX90 $150

I found them for 430kr on www.yagma.com maybe it is worth to get them from there.
