liquid dripping noise from a car

2003 toyota camry

My car has this liquid dripping noise coming out of somewhere below the wheelbase. You cant hear it in the car and there is no problem at all when i drive the car. But after you stop the car or shut off its engine and get to the outside u can hear it very clearly that something is dripping but i dont see any liquid stains on the ground.

Did anyone encounter the same problems before?

Are you sure it is not just the metal of the engine cooling. It will typically have some pops/ticking as the engine cools. It will sound a lot like water dripping on metal.

Have you been running the ac?

Sounds to me like the condensation that develops when the A/C has been running. Quite normal, and is also normal if it leaves a puddle on the ground usually behind the passenger front tire.

If you park your car outside overnight most likely it is condensation. If it was oil you would definitely recognize the smoke and smell, if it was gas you would recognize the flames, so it is probably water condensation coming from the engine or exhaust. Just to be sure keep an eye on the water level.

If you have air condition, then you can be 99% sure that its only only water that comes from condensation on the compressor and tubes.
