Head-fi appreciation thread

Thread Starter
I just wanted to thank all you guys for helping me on my decision making in purchasing headphones and also for you continued support of bringing new people into this awesome hobby. I am listening to my HD580s right now and just kind of loving life while listening to beautiful music. When wnewport first let me listen to his AKGs at a coffee shop in our town I thought he was crazy to spend that much money on headphones that sounded the same as my Bose QC1. However I was intrigued by the hobby. When he first showed me this site, I had never posted in a forum before.

Now, several cans later, I love this hobby! Thanks wnewport and thank you Head-fi and Head-fi community!

Thanks, Head-Fi, for bringing me to awesome headphones and getting me interested in vinyl!

Absolutely, theres no other forum like it on the internet that Ive come across. The atmosphere here is great, totally free of all the things that make other forums unpleasant. 99% of the members here are genuinely good people, and very helpful, generous and trustworthy. Heres to you Head-fi!

Honestly, is there a point in this thread? People show appreciation of Head-Fi by being here and posting here. I think the founders know this too.

Yup; a good reason to say thanks is to show our appreciation to Jude and all the moderators for all their time and efforts, and to Jude especially for all the extra time and money he's spent in keeping this evil place up and running! I could honestly say this place has actually changed a number of lives. I know it sure has changed mine!

Thanks guys! From me!....and my wallet.

Yes. The point is to say thank you to those who make head-fi such a great community.

I'm sure the founders and ops know how popular head-fi is and thus how much we must like it. But, it is nice for people to express how they feel and say thank you.

So, let them.

Cheers to you all.

I agree that it's a great community with great, resourceful members. But what I'm saying is that there is no need for self-promotion here. It's a great community because we make it great. As simple as that.

Yeah Head-fi is certainly one of the most helpful sites I've been to.

Dear Headfi (THE FORUM):

Thanks for driving me crazy the last couple of weeks trying to search for the perfect $100 headphones. What's mind-boggling is how you manage to store every freakin thread there is. Awesome as it is, it seems my choices have expanded even more.

Still thank you, VBBulletin cache system. I would marry you if I had the chance.

I also thank the (4) members whose posts directed me to the AD700's. It's quite obscure in this forum and I'm really glad of learning of its existence. And yes, it does seem like the perfect $100 headphones.

Thank guys! ... not from my wallet!

I've met some really nice guys on this forum. They will be too many to name.

They are too accommodating, never complaining, always helpful and honest. It certainly is a great place to be. Just when the world is being business centered and you hear about how people get cheated over the internet, being a part of head-fi makes you believe that there are many decent people out there.
