B - Everything listed below EXCEPT the black glass Tung-Sol 6SN7GT - $290
C - Everything listed below EXCEPT the gray glass RCA VT-231 - $330
D - Everything listed below - $355

The 336i was photographed under a spotlight so dust and fingerprints are highlighted. It is a pretty crappy picture to boot.

Condition is about 8/10. These are the issues:
  • LED goes out and comes back on in long cycles. It sometimes flickers, but this is rare. This has no effect on sound. I believe it was Fitz who said that this would be a simple fix.

  • There is wear to the finish on one of the front top corners of the power supply section. It's not obvious but it's not invisible either. I never noticed it until I scrutinized its condition prior to a previous interest check.

  • There are 10-15 very small "bumps" in the finish to the left/front of the tubes. I believe this is common for the 336i.

  • threEchelon, who was borrowing the amp for a couple weeks, said he noticed that the gold on some of the RCAs was worn. I haven't looked closely at the back of the amp in a while, so I can't confirm that yet.

  • Note that none of the issues described above are visible in the picture. The picture shows off a bevy of smudges, weird reflections, etc. There are no crazy white marks to the left of the tubes; in fact, there are no crazy marks anywhere.

I will include the following:
  • Front tubes:
    1. RCA VT-231 gray glass, NOS or low hours, I forget [I paid $50]
    2. RCA 6SN7GT(B?) clear glass [free]
    3. Sylvania 6SN7GT(B?) [free]
    4. Tung-Sol 6SN7GT black glass / round plate, NOS [$101]
    5. Tung-Sol 6SN7GT mouse ear, cracked base [free]
    6. stock tube

  • Rear tubes:
    1. United Electron 6AS7G [free]
    2. RCA 6AS7G, NOS [$11]
    3. RCA 6080, NOS [$11]
    4. stock tube was broken when it arrived at my door and is now in a landfill

  • Note: I purchased the tubes, particularly the more expensive ones, from Head-Fiers who were experienced tube shoppers. The Tung-Sol was purchased from Drarthurwells, for instance. These are not crappy tubes from eBay. I listed what I paid to provide some idea as to their value. Some of the tubes listed above were given to me for free and are noted as such. The free ones are very nice tubes, especially the United Electron, but they are also free to you, so do not factor them in to your offer.

  • Herbie's Hal-O tube dampers: one front, one rear. [$20]

  • Stock Chinese power cable. I will include a US-friendly cable if you need one.

  • Original box and paperwork.

Note: The 336i was on loan for a couple of weeks and should be available to ship on 7/9.

Please feel free to PM me if you have any questions about how specific tubes will do with your headphones.
