Well although my house is still being unpacked, repaired, nested and all that I do have my new speakers set up and thought I'd post some very bad pics

The speakers are all Aperion except the sub which is a HSU VTF3 MK3. TV is a Sony 52" XBR3 Unfortunatly I'm a bit cramped for space towards the front and the sub and center chanel were both larger than expected. I'm open to suggestions on repositioning

Triad Bronze sub. Its a low Qts peerless 10" driver witha proprietary amp and MDF cabinet. Clean extension to ~22Hz, from a 1'x1'x1' cube

Cast aluminum front stage...

Denon 5.1, VCR has been replaced with Toshiba TiVo.

Usually I just use my RS1, straight out of the Denon... headphones just sound better than anything else.

Computer/HT rig.

Crappy pic I know.

Somewhere in there, you can find:
42" 1080p Westinghouse
3 of 5 Infinity Primus 360 Speakers
2 of 2 Athena P3 subwoofers
Panasonic XR57 Receiver
Toshiba HD-A2 HD-DVD Player
Part of kramer5150's rig
1 of 2 cats

Marvin, that's awesome. I think I'll do that if I ever buy a new TV.

oh man, you guys make me so envious, especially you wakeride!

Here's my basement...

Sony SXRD 1080p 50a2000
Sony 7.1 receiver
Pioneer speakers
Sony up converting DVD player
Bell HD satellite receiver
xbox 360

The speakers are the bottleneck (especially the sub...I hate it!) and the first thing to be upgraded when budget allows. I'm thinking PSB or Polks. The only other thing worth mentioning is my couch...a nice, soft 90" blue leather one.

Currently, I just have a pair of Monitor Audio RS6 speakers powered by a HK AVR430 receiver. My tv is a Panasonic plasma. This is a bedroom system.

Wake, I almost bought that same ottoman/table. The only reason I ended up not getting it is because my wife and I have a bad habit of eating in front of the tv and I wasn't sure I could have dinner on that...lol

the table in the pic is a hand me down from my parents and is older than I am (26 in 6 weeks)

i am trying to scrounge up the money for a westinghouse tv to use as a monitor. what resolution are you running that baby at?

It's changed a bit since this pic, but it still looks the same.

Sony 50" 720p tv
Denon AVR-3806 receiver
Sony 400 disc cd changer
Denon upconverting DVD/SACD/DVD-A player
Xbox 360 with HD-DVD player
Energy Take 5 satellites & ES-10 powered sub

I have since canceled the Comcast cable, and sold the PS2 & Halo Edition Xbox.

Yeah, wake's new house and system have come together nicely. I bet that sub nicely bumps that sofa sitting there.

I really like Aurora's too. Looks like many head-fi'ers own the Sony TV, Denon Components, HD-DVD, and Xbox360 combo like myself.

That sub is insane! Plays down to 18hz and starts to warble aroung 16-17. I had it on w/ Gears and I lost a couple fillings from my teeth

I'll try and get some better pics up this weekend when I have some good light coming in from outside.

Was Hsu first on your list of subs? I had a Hsu STF2 awhile back and loved it. Looking at the VTF2.3 or an Elemental Design sub.

It was a toss up between the SVS PB12 NSD and HSU. The HSU ended up being more since I had to pay tax on it but it was 10% off and I like that it has 2 ports with extension or output mode for music or movies and I can upgrade it with a turbo down the road. It's larger than I expected and probably more than I need but it sounds fantastic.
