This is a fantastic source. It gives you the lovely lush full sound of tubes without breaking the bank. I have the original set of cryo treated Tung Sol 5687 tubes with perhaps 1,000hrs on them and a brand new set just purchased from TubeDepot.

bump! I will give it a few more days here before it is off to Audiogon. The player new cost $1,400. It will come with the before mentioned stock Tung-Sol tubes as well as a NOS pair. Also, I have added Acoutifeet to the player to further reduce vibrations.

Just want to add that the RAM CD25 is very beautiful sounding player. This unit has nice and smooth presentation. The midrange is quite pressive. IMO, the RAM CD25 is on par with SACDMods Sony SCD-C555ES in my books. Good luck on the sale.
