My Wife likes to go to party stores and buy a Headornament/hat for each and every Holiday...then we take pictures of our Labrador each Holiday, with the hat/headdress for the holiday on her head. We have quite a collection of Jet pics, with her suffering the rediculosity in good spirits.
We have taught her some "tricks" that are less common:
She can follow hand signals for Sit, Stay, go left, go right, go farther, come back towards, Down, Head down, too.
She follows whistle commands for Stop, Stay, Go Left, Go Right, and Come.
We trained her to Shake (as in fling water off her fur) on command, so she is not so wet when she comes in the house.
She knows that she can get a treat whenever she wants one, by recycling any paper plates or trash she finds on the floor...she will be lying around, then decide she wants a treat, and she will look for anything she can bring to put it in the trash - old paper plates, toys that she has "gutted" - (pulled the stuffing out and shredded the cover).
