So does these ones stay in the ears, even when running and how exactly?

The reason why I ask is, that the Apple default earbuds kept constantly falling out of my ears.

The OK1 is an outstanding bub. I compare it very much to the ER4S but with a fuller bottom end and a little more top end sparkle but a slightly tamer upper midrange, basically fixing three main gripes one might have about the ER4S, very similar sound signature overall, not quite twins close but related close. It very much needs to be amped though at any volumes above very quiet. It doesn't sound bad without, but it does lose its bottom end and tonal balance without.

For placement in that tic-tac-toe chart, assume PK1 level, maybe higher but dead neutral on the chart in the E column. I haven't listened to the PK1, so I can't say. I've listened to the PK2, and the OK1 is a considerable step up in quality.

The B&O A8 bud/phones were mentioned early on. I gave my pair to my daughter.

I find these hard to listen to for extended period. Something of a harsh, metallic sound. Plus I had a hard time getting them adjuted properly in my ears for more than a minute at a time.

Amped? I've come to find that the bud is relatively sensitive to the covering used, example rubber surround versus the rubber full covering. As well, you have a lot pf play using the IEM conversion, although, it would take a bit of trial and error to get something that you liked and worked right. The problem is the sound doesn't come out of only the center, so it sort of works better on the shorter converter and it still mostly in your ear. I've come to like the rubber full covering because it does lightly block the highs and takes away some of that top end brightness that seems slightly out of place. I can see this as well as amperage issues can point this bud towards the lean side of things. I don't know what your rig was, and I assume you had a covering with an open center. I would kind of suggest trying a full foam or the full rubber cover and see what you think. Taking off just a hair off the top end does give it a more natural, even sound.

Hmm, dry is not a word I'd personally use with the OK1, at least not in my context of that word.

Damn, I do like these a lot though.

cracked and picked up a pair of PK1s and should get them in a week or so. i have to stop visiting head-fi least i spend all my rent money...
