Just a heads up..Son't buy TV stands at Best Buy online.

I work the truck at Best Buy. The employees at the Best Buy warehouse stacks the stands in a moronic way..They place the lightest stands on the bottom, the heaviest in the middle, & more of the light stands on top, then wrap it up on a pallet..When we get the truck the pallet is either leaning greater to one side or half the stands fall to the ground. This is common.. They also stack them way too high instead of doing the smart thing & using more pallets. Some are damaged, & some are customer orders..My supervisor takes pictures & sends them to the warehouse boss but nothing gets done..TV's are very similar.. I seen upside plasmas, two heavy stands on a plasmas..Shotty placement where a TV in the back falls down when you grab the TV in front do to it not being secure properly. Basically they don't care about the customers product that they ordered if its stand or TV..

Sounds pretty sincere to me

Yeah it often happens that when something doesnt affect a person they tent to not give a sh*t. When i first started at an Art Auctions business, i was handling paintings up to $50,000+ which made me be careful, however the other guys working there longer seriously didnt give a dam about the paintings as long as they werent noticably damaged -_-''

The sad thing is I'll have no choice.

The big box stores have driven everybody else out of business. The Tweeter in the local mall is closing, I may have 2 other stores in driving distance that might have TV stands if I ever need one, or Best Buy.

That may be why they don't care, they don't have to...

Apparently some of the warehouse personnel just lack common sense. Regardless though, if the stuff comes defective, BB would exchange it FOC and pay for shipping both ways.

yeah..Its just simple stuff, though.. another thing, they put heavy items in the truck with a forklift..We have to use a hand truck with limited help..You know how many times we accidently dropped a washer/dryer/refridge cause they are heavy as hell & stacked 2 high? & some frustrated employees who take it out on the prodcuts.. My friend who had to count a 2,000 piece truck in 3 hrs, was just throwing things around to count the lock up.. The customer can always get a replacement item.. Its just the total lack of uncaring for a item a customer bought..I bought my HDTV at Frys, cause the sells person told me They would have to ship it from the BB warehouse..

Wow, sounds horrible (O_O), but are we to assume that the conditions at your location are the same as the conditions at our locations?

Mostly likely yes.. We had a stand so messed up.. We actually built it for the customer instead of taking the heat..The box was severly damaged.. Also, don't think you are getting a good deal when you purchase a used item with the gift card label..It's a scam..Originally they would just deduct the cost on the used item..Now you get a giftcard cause BB knows how to spend your money better then you do. The GM said this benefits the customer. I nearly said something I was so irate..

I used to be a PT at 24Fitness.. They want members to keep enrolling in their PT program, regardless if the customer reached their goal.. Basically they want the members to become Dependant on the trainer.. I even said something about it to my supervisor. He gave me a BS awnser. You are suppose to train members to become independant.. Also the Trainers only get a 35/40-60-65% split of the cost..& if the person you are training misses a appointment you don't get paid but 24Fitness does..
