Wait - this means i have to wait another year for a "NET MD" compliant MD's US Release? DAMMIT! Forget the whole thing.....as vertigo said, they probably screwed it up anyway......I'm getting an MD recorder NOW, not in year......

yeah, its probably gonna use the same software as those MS Walkmans, which have so much security that they're totally useless... And there won't even be an improvement in sound quality, since MP3's still have to be converted into ATRAC, only on the computer instead of the MD... MD's will probably become cheaper and recording times may become faster than 1X, but overall, i guess netmd is useless...

ya, well, u kno sony will make the whole Net MD apparatus LOOK good, if nothing else (sigh)....
