Group Buy - ε22 backplane board V1.1 (6/5-6/17)  

The ordering phase is now closed - invoices will be issued in the next 48 hours (or so).

The following is a group buy for the ε22 backplane pcb's that are designed to be used with the β22 amplifier pcbs. Both projects were designed by amb and the β22 pcbs are still available for purchase through amb's audio shop. Because of the high cost and relative low demand for the ε22 boards they will not be sold through amb's shop and V1.0 pcbs are no longer available.

The interest check phase of this is now complete and this is officially a group buy. The GB will run thru 11:59pm EST June 15th. At that number the price per board would be approximately $30/each including all fees and shipping (in the ConUs), if the quantity is higher the price may go down slightly, but probably not more than a couple dollars.

The ε22 V1.1 will address the minor flaws with V1.0 but otherwise will be identical to the board pictured below:



If you would like to participate in the group buy please post in this thread with the quantity of boards that you would like (one for stereo configurations, two for balanced) and then send an email to natemaher @ gmail . com (remove spaces)with the following information:

1. Your user name
2. The quantity of boards you wish to purchase
3. Your Paypal ID (email address)

I will send a confirmation email within 72hours, if you do not receive an email from me within that time please post in this thread and we'll figure out what went wrong. I will hold this information until it is decided whether or not the group buy will go forward. Also this information will be treated with the strictest of confidence and will not be given, sold or provided otherwise to anyone at anytime. Paypal will be the only form of accepted payment and I will only ship to confirmed addresses.

Finally I would like to ask that people be sincere in their posting, I would not like to find myself with extra expensive boards at the end of the group buy. This whole process runs on trust.

I hate to be blunt like this but posting in this thread alone will not get you a PCB. If I don't have an email from you prior to the close of the group buy this weekend it is likely that I won't order a board for you on the chance that you'll pay for it.

I've sent confirmation emails to everyone that I've received information from.

I'm going to extend the group buy through the weekend since it only got posted here a week or so ago. New deadline is 11:59, Sunday 6/17.

Just a quick update, I have been insanely busy at work this week and not able to get to the invoices. Also, I've been negotiating with two members on what their final order will be. Now that I've got all the numbers fixed I should be able to get to the invoices tonight. Sorry for the delay!

All of the invoices were sent out this morning. I would like to request that everyone verify the quantity that I had them down for as I found a couple weird inconsistencies while double-checking information this morning. I'd hate to have ordered too few boards as it is not going to be possible to change that once I place the order for the pcbs (most likely tomorrow).

Well, since it took me so long to get the invoices out I went ahead and ordered the boards today even though I'm still waiting for 4 or 5 payments. Please take care of those as soon as possible. I'll provide periodic updates as fabrication gets underway but I don't expect to have much to say for 2 weeks or so.
